Did You Know? PulpVision Serves More Than Just the Produce & Horticulture Sectors

PulpVision is well known for its work in the produce and horticulture sectors, but did you know that our thermoformed moulded fibre technology is also used across several other industries?

Beyond fruit, vegetables and plants, our fibre solutions are increasingly being adopted in the beauty and cosmetics sector for sustainable packaging trays, inserts and product protection. Brands are turning to fibre as a premium, plastic-free alternative that aligns with consumer expectations for greener choices.

We also have increasing requests within the medical and healthcare industry, where moulded fibre offers hygienic, single-use packaging options that are both robust and fully recyclable. Its combination of strength, precision and sustainability makes it ideal for medical device trays, test kit components, protective inserts and even tablets.

If your business is looking to reduce plastic and move toward recyclable fibre packaging, our team can help you explore solutions tailored to your industry.

PulpVision Visits Royal Flora Holland Trade Fair for Sustainability Insights

PulpVision Logo White
In November, PulpVision’s Shaun Herdsman and Roy van Heugten attended the Royal FloraHolland Trade Fair in Aalsmeer—an important annual gathering for horticultural growers, suppliers and innovators. The visit offered a valuable chance to reconnect with customers and colleagues, explore new ideas and see the latest trends shaping the sector.
A clear theme throughout the event was the industry’s increasing focus on sustainability. With the 2030 PPWR regulations approaching, many growers and packaging suppliers are actively preparing for the shift away from traditional plastics. Moulded fibre plant pots were one of the most frequently discussed solutions, with strong interest in their recyclability, kerbside acceptability and reduced environmental impact.
Shaun and Roy spent time speaking with companies who are already trialling fibre formats, as well as those planning future transitions. The insights gathered at the fair will help PulpVision continue supporting growers and retailers as they adopt compliant, fibre-based packaging ahead of the regulatory deadline.
